Shabbat
Background
Many Jewish holidays come once a year, but Shabbat comes every week (Friday evening and Saturday morning).
We’re working on material for this section, including:
- Ways to celebrate Shabbat at home
- The real story of Shabbat and what are some of the traditions associated with it
- An opportunity for you to share your thoughts on what Shabbat means (or doesn’t mean!) to you
- Recipes
- Educational materials for adults and children of all ages
- And more!
Liturgy
Congregation Beth Adam’s liturgy is an expression of what we believe. Our liturgy strives to foster intellectual honesty, personal responsibility, and opportunity for growth. It is our hope that readers will experience a deeper sense of their moral and spiritual selves within a context of modern day Judaism.
Two Shabbat services are available for purchase in our store, as well as a pack of Home Services (including Shabbat, Havdalah, Hanukkah, and a Home Dedication).
