After a long day of traveling this was just wonderful. BTW my dentist was raving about a planned trip to the Creation Museum. Very puzzling. We really enjoy your sense of humor. Shabbat is peace

I know a lot of Ohioans are embarrassed to think that they share a border with Kentucky, but the “Ohio Navy” which snarls Kentucky’s interstates and pollutes our lakes with jet skis doesn’t make us rejoice about Ohio either.
We’ll make a deal. We Kentuckians won’t clear our throats before we say “Ohio” if Ohioans won’t shrug your shoulders when you refer to Kentucky.
Gut shabbes, y’all

Thank you Rabbis for another wonderfully progressive Shabbat service! My wife and I would love to visit with you and the congregation nest time we are in Ohio. Once again I missed the live stream, I am catching the recorded version around midnight at my job as a counselor at a homeless shelter here in Asheville NC. I will try to catch the live service next week. I am a very progressive Jew, but I make sure I read the Torah portion each week. I always find it challenging and I also enjoy the wonderful questions and pondering it leaves me with. But, I feel that the questioning is good and part of our rich culture.
Thank you again….Shabbat Shalom!

I watched you live but don’t Twitter yet! Thank you for the wonderful Shabbat service. It means so much to me to be able to participate. My family and I recited the candle lighting blessings with you and we felt so happy to be connected to our community. Shabbat to me means reflection. Shabbat Shalom!

Does the Creation Museum REJECT science, or do they simply use scientific sources that support the theory of Creationism?
There are many scientific sources for both the creation theory and the evolution theory.
It’s sad indeed when some evolution proponents feel an urgent need to cut off discussion on this important issue.
For centuries, the leading scientists all “knew” that the universe did not begin – it had always existed.
Jews and Christians always knew that the universe had a beginning – the first word of the Torah teaches that very plainly.(בראשית – in the beginning)
Leave it to Einstein, a Jew who may or may not have believed in a Higher Power, to prove the first word of the Torah!
Today, science accepts what the Torah knew all along.
Why must we summarily dismiss the possibility that the Torah is authentic and true in order to live in the modern world?

Rabbis Baum and Barr. It’s Sunday, and I’m afraid I missed the live stream. Nevertheless, I was very moved when I watched the service this morning! I can’t thank you enough for the work you are doing (Not to mention, Rabbi Baum, how helpful and supportive you have been to me personally). Gut Shabbos!

I enjoyed the service. As a recently interested probable jew, living 300km away from the nearest synagogue, your production offers much to me.
I have to do the calculations for when 6pm EST is in east coast Australia, but may be able to tune in to a Saturday morning service here.
