Do you shop at Amazon.com, Kroger, or any of the other stores listed below?

Hi there.  Hope you are all having a great Monday.  Today’s blog is all about money.  If you shop at Amazon.com, Kroger, or any of the stores listed below, please keep reading!  Please.  Thank you.  Very much.

OurJewishCommunity.org is a new organization that is funded through the generosity of individual donors and the reserve funds of Congregation Beth Adam in Cincinnati, Ohio.

We are actively fundraising so that we can continue to grow this online congregation into the future.  We are of course looking for donors – and any contribution will be greatly appreciated.

We also know that there are ways we can raise money, without it costing you a penny!  A couple of wonderful businesses help us by giving us a percentage of their sales.  It’s so easy for everyone!

If you shop at Amazon.com, please always click on the link on the left side of OurJewishCommunity.org before you make your purchase.  When you click on us first, a percentage of your sale is automatically donated to OurJewishCommunity.org.

You can also help us when you shop for groceries (or other miscellaneous items).  If you shop at any of the following stores, please keep reading (and watching) below….
• Kroger
• Fred Meyer
• Ralphs
• King Scoopers
• Fry’s Food and Drug or Fry’s Marketplace
• Smith’s Food and Drug or Smith’s Marketplace
• Dillons
• QFC
• Food 4 Less (in So. CA, NV, IN, and IL)
• City Market
• Jay-C
• Baker’s
• Gerbe’s
• Foods Co
• Hilander
• Pay-Less Supermarkets
• Owen’s
• Fred Meyer Jewelers
• Littman Jewelers
• Barclay Jewelers

Each of these stores will write us a check for 4% of whatever you purchase – you just need to use a gift card that we send you.

So, if you shop at any of these stores, please send me an email at rabbi@ourjewishcommunity.  I will send you a gift card for you to load and use.

This short and simple (and ridiculously not well-done) video shows how to use the card.

If you prefer to read the steps, here they are:
1. Send an email to rabbi@ourjewishcommunity.org with your snail mail address (which we won’t share or use for any other purpose).
2. We will send you a reloadable gift card with no value.
3. Go to the store.
4. Before the cashier rings your items up, ask them to put money on your card.  You can put more money on the card using cash, a check, or a credit card (so you can still get air miles or other benefits!).
5. When paying for your items, pay with your reloadable gift card.
6. That’s it!  Your card keeps the balance on it, and you can add more money next time or still spend the remaining balance.
7. OurJewishCommunity.org benefits greatly from this program.

If you have any questions, please email me.  And, remember, I’m not only someone who tells other people to shop at Amazon by clicking here first or to use a Kroger card – I do them both myself!

Thanks you!  Thank you!  Thank you!
